Experience

• 20 years of professional experience in Civil and Structural design and construction. Primary experience has been in Industrial facilities for the Forest Products and Pulp and Paper Industries.
  
• Recent experience has involved structural inspections and repairs for many manufacturing facilities throughout the country. Has also designed many miscellaneous structures, pipe bridges and pump foundations for pulp mill process and effluent treatment projects as well as design of gravity flow piping systems. Other specialties include upgrading and retrofitting existing structures and design of steel, concrete and wood buildings.
  
• Familiar with all the major building code (UBC, SSBC and BOCA), having designed buildings in many areas of the country.
  
• Also familiar with construction activities, having directly supervised contractors during the construction of two paper machines, a sawmill retrofit, as well as many mill renovation projects.
